Albert Dock Vista

My wife and I entertained a lady to lunch. She had attended my 'alma mater' until 1948 having been there during the war and was evacuated to Beaumaris to avoid the bombing of Liverpool. I started there in 1950. She featured a great deal in my book 'Memories of the Mid-20th Century (see my website for details). Since then whenever she visits Liverpool for 'retail therapy', we meet up for lunch.
On this occasion we met up at 'Gusto's' and this was the view that faced us as we left.
