I was just on my way home after a trip to the docks, where there was hardly a ship in sight, so I decided to take a short cut down a lane where generally very little happens either. I was surprised to see these two equine beasts so decided to capture them.

whilst taking this one, with a bare arm close to the fence, I got an almighty electric shock right through my body making me shout "S***!"

There were no warning signs about, but on looking I discovered the electric connections to the bog standard fence hidden by growth. I know from H&S rules that notices are mandatory, but I shan't be suing the breeder

Note to myself "Look out for such things in future."

Frank

An electrifying shot Frank (sorry). Worth the drive down the lane to capture this nice moment.

May look better with the horses a little darker, that mid day Sun wasnt helping, and I know you can put in a nice sky.

regards

mmm ,

Cons,

Oversaturated , halos around horses after post-processing , bland sky , ears intruding above treeline , central composition , and a rather unimaginative snap.

Pros,

Good aperture and you getting zapped by an electric fence haha.

Remedy,

Try different viewpoints or whistle and get the subjects engaging more with the cam. Direct eye contact would have been a good scene.

I felt like I "Watt" I should've done was to "volt" over the fence on my way "ohm", but I met no "resistance" or "impedance" on the way.

Thanks for comments everybody

'Mother and son' ????????????????? I think you mean mare and foal Smile

A good moment caught but unfortunately spoilt by the processing which has resulted in halos around the outline of the horses and a strange and unnatural sheen to their coats.
