A recent visit to Heswall Beach on the side of the River Dee, (west Wirral coast). Lots of old boats are rotting there, some to be repaired others abandoned.
This one is alongside the local boatyard, so possibly it has a chance of survival.

This has the potential to be a great picture. But sadly the top of the boat is missing. It really needs the top in my opinion to be a great picture. Also i would try and use a touch of vibrance in the picture to really bring out the colours in the picture.

Hi Frank,
There must be a reason why you didn't want the top corner of the boat in the shot so forgive me for rebuilding it. There is no point in telling my "grandma" how to suck eggs so I'm sure you will know that I made a copy, turned it to B&W then overlayed it onto the colour one to give it a contrasty look.
