Another close-up tonight. Gone for a little bit of PS work to increase the high-key effect. Hope you like this one.
1/200s @ f/2.8
ISO 800 for a little grain
Up on the exposure a little from the raw image.
Great shot Gary, I much prefer this to your previous one as this seems to 'leap-off' the screen more - much brighter.
I think that this one is good however against a darker background perhaps the flower would stand out further.
Wow! Lovely shot, I like the bright background, makes it really stand out.
Super shot, I think it works well against the white background.
Really vibrant and clean shot, stands out even in the thumbnails Jane
I really like the bright background and overall lightness - suits the subtle colours of the subject. Lovely pictorial image. Bruce.
This is very beautiful.
Lovely shot,Thanks for your comments
Very dramatic and the colourful bits are not overexposed, so it looks good.
Such a beautiful composition of a lovely flower.
Lovely image, gorgeous colours. Well caught!

A fantastic clean shot. Nice one !
Very nice, you've got a great eye for making something interesting out of a flower.
stunning shot, love the effect.
Really like this overexposed effect, - works well with the orchid.
