I agree with all what is said, and in particular there is plenty of action. But it is unclear action, meaningless in fact. Extrapolating that lack of clarity into "mystery" is a bit far fetch, as in your photographic life , you will find more interesting mysterious scenes or situations than this one. Personally, when i take a picture like that that makes me wonder so much if it is good or if it is bad, it is usually bad, better drop it, and start roaming the streets all over again

Yes Bill, I think the russians are visually interesting, especially the ordinary ones (as opposed to the rich ones). like in Nha Trang. Example : big mother dressed like in conventional fifties style, and in front of her, half naked 16 years old lolita daughter. There is still this generation gap , weheas in the west, the mummies try to look like teenage daughters !

Power to the people...

Beside the terrific lighting, this picture goes beyond in puzzling us. Leisure boats somewhere that is not sea or lake, on a background of polluting industries. It is sort of telling us that in an industrial zone, you must find happiness with what you have to put up with.
