It's been quite a while since I spent some time on EPZ and I have missed you all so hopefully I will be catching up over this weekend.
This is Georgia, the teenage grandchild of some friends of ours, she asked me if I could "make her look like one of my models" and was delighted when I presented her with her two favourites from the shoot, this being one of them. Georgia has never posed in front of a camera before and apart from snaps on mobile phones etc., she has never had what she called a 'proper portrait' that she liked.
We took her best friend along to assist with equipment and reflectors and after about an hour of shooting, Georgia really got into it and started to relax and enjoy the experience.
From my part, it was refreshing to have a couple of giggly teenagers who were willing to take direction, listen and learn and most of all, have fun on this informal shoot.
Version 2 has a 'glamour glow' added for effect.
The light was contrasty but we managed to find some interesting shaded areas with pockets of sunlight and I used a gold reflector to add warmth to the models pale skin and highlight the auburn tones in her hair.
Hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for looking in on me again.
