Tulips with falling petals towards the end of their life.
version 2... I did some HDR processing on, didn't know which I liked best so decided to post both shots.

Many thanks to all for the comments, critique and mods on my last few 'experimental' images, all of which have been very helpful indeed.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Fran

Having switched back and forth between the the two versions, Fran, I'm inclined more towards the processed version of V 2. To my mind these fading blooms look rather better in the procesed shot.
Ronnie.

Two excellent images Fran. I would be pleased with either of them. I do think however that V1 just has the edge. For me it has a much brighter and sharper appearance. I have never tried HDR so I cant really comment on that.

I like V1 best. These are both really good images, lovely.
Thanks for your comments on my half dead flowers, it was looking at yours that encouraged me. That and the fact that 6 out top 15 entries of the DSLR Mag Comp I got a distinction in were dead or nearly dead flowers! I am having my horizons broadened!
