A lovely warm sunny day here in Devon today so I thought I would post a warm sunny image to match the mood.

Late afternoon sun peeking through a gap in a shaded area of the garden, illuminating just a small area of this beautiful shrub, I ran indoors to get my camera and a few moments later the light had gone. The phrase "make hay while the sun shines" comes to mind.

Many thanks to Lesley (cassiecat) for the mod, Ricky (NobbytheNobster) for the useful critique and all who left comments on my last upload, all are most appreciated.

Thanks for looking in today.

Fran

Two good images beautifully presented Fran
I personally prefer #1. This has better lighting (less contrasty) and nice colour tones.

Gorgeous, Fran. I'm not familiar with that shrub - hard to believe all those colors on one bush! Stunning.

Following on from Christina, the differing colours are very attractive, and it's not something I have seen on wild broom. Love the lighting and presentation here.

Superb colours Fran
Love the frame and coloured text. It might be worth trying a slightly smaller font size for the title- I like where it is placed, but smaller may work even better
