A collection of images from Covent Garden.
A great reportage, so well taken 10*****
Some great character shots there - Carole
Wonderful eclectic mix, Ken. And that's one heck of an instrument in v1.
What an amazing collection - so varied
Fascinating instrument in v1, I wonder what it sounds like
Love the posters in v6, especially the directions for hippies
Excellent set Ken you have spoiled us this morning with choice for me its easy 1 vote each very nice work
Happy new week
V9, V6 and V4 for me in this set of great images..
A great selection - all well seen!
Excellent Ken V4 takes my vote today.
A cracking assortment of images Frank, its very hard to choose an image which really grabs my attention, but I think version number gets my vote for today.
You never know what you'll see next at Covent Garden, great series of images......
What an excellent set!! You really are awesome at these street candids, Ken.
When I first saw V1, I was like, "Hang on, that's a weird way to hold a gatling gun!". Then I noticed it was a musical instrument. Fascinating thing; never seen one like it.
The caricaturist and sculptor do some amazing work!
An excellent set from Coven Garden.
We hope to be there some time on Friday - I wonder if we'll find such variety? I really fancy one of the aprons in V3 for my own use (but I refuse to say which one )
The instrument in V1 (particularly well photographed) is a Chinese Shêng 笙 (or just possibly a Japanese Shô; they are basically identical). Believe it or not, it is a forerunner of the mouth organ! and so of the accordion and melodeon far more frequently encountered in the West.
I am a mine of useless information!
A cracking set Ken.
Great set Ken - from the thumbnail I thought the guy had a gun in V1.
Thanks for bringing Covent Garden into my home, very interesting indeed. I realise I'm going for simplicity, but I do like V4.
Like them all for all the variety..
An interesting and well taken set Ken - thumbs up ! ...Bill
Goodness, Woolybill, useless information it most certainly is not! Fascinating, and thanks for sharing. And I know which apron you're after
A cracking set Ken.
A great mixed bag nice spotting as always
A fine set capturing the essence of the place so well. I love the expression in V7.
That Bill is a clever lad ain't he
Glad to make it 30, deserves a lot more, great "street" here Ken.
