I was out with my new Olympus EPL3 for the first time on Saturday, and this is one of the first images by it.
Shot from the waist using the flip up screen, What a relief it is to go out without the weight of a DSLR!
I'm liking the camera already!
As usual converted to mono via Serif Photoplus.
Unfortunately, I returned home to a dead desktop computer. It wouldn't turn on.
Yesterday morning I decided to unplug everything and get the box ready to take for repair. Everything is plugged into a multi plug circuit protect extension lead. When I unplugged everything I thought I'd put them all back in and give it one more go and the result is that it's now working again!
Can't understand it but never mind.
Ken

You see this sort of shot so well! Three ganging against one, feel the weight of their contempt for us mere mortals.
Delighted that you could get out again.

Good morning, neighbour,
Talk about eye contact - it's fizzing all round this cracking street photograph.
The oversize proportions of the male poster adds a touch of surreality to the scene.
And the timing is perfect.
Regards
Bill
Glad the camera is working out for you Ken! If you can get this result then who needs all that weight, I think the lady is muttering SKINNY BITCH under her breath, excellent street photography.
Regards
Trev.

All the different lines of sight are superb, Ken. Back in the groove again with the new box of tricks, excellent.

Quote: A cracking capture Ken, on which certainly deceives the eye. The attention to detail and timing being spot on as usual.
Regards Nathan
could not have put it better myself Ken!!

PS My computer plays tricks like that on me occasionally. What is even worse is when I get it to the repair chap and it works perfectly in his house. They do it to keep us on our toes and show who's in command...

Ken...this is bloody marvellous mate.
Suggestion...crop out the pavement so you can't see who is real and who is decoration in the window...even more WOW effect.
