A cropped mono version of a recent upload.
Nothing much to upload at the moment. I'm hoping to get out today for a few hours though.
hullo photo neighbour ..
this crop is so much better in my eyes
The eye contact with the woman and the gent looking at the sitter make such a strong inter-connection, Ken. Very good work.
I like the intensity that the crop brings, I might take even more off, from the left. The faces in the poster seem so much more alive, animated, active than the real person.
Frank all I can say about this image has already been said, so I shall quickly add to words. Brilliantly worked.
I'm not sure about the eye contact that Dave mentions. The two people in the poster are looking in subtly different directions, the woman directly toward the viewer, the man over his left shoulder and out of the picture.
The man sitting on the bench, as far as I can tell, is thoroughly disengaged, i.e. not looking at anything at all. In Magritte's surreal world his features would have been erased entirely, or replaced by an apple, and his anonymity emphasised by his wearing a black overcoat and bowler hat.
The photograph seems to have more meaning in b&w than in colour. It is quite astonishing. My respect!
It's all been said better than I can......love it, stunning work captures the imagination big time
yes this cropped version brings more impact mefinks nice one Ken
I suppose he can but dream!
An image with questions, stimulating answers Ken.
He looks so lonesome......
Hands down, this works MUCH better than the previous version, Ken. Beautiful in black and white and the crop is perfect
A beautiful and thought provoking image Ken. Mono works well for me.
If only it were me he's thinking. Brilliant Ken.
