As Bill says, classic Rende.
A note to any Forums devotees who may be looking in - this is not, repeat not, evidence of reciprocal UA-awarding, the stuff of your fevered nightmares. It's a UA for a fabulous abstract, beautifully proportioned, cut out of life's bigger picture, and with added frizz.
And for the humour - someone actually painted the rope to match its background.
Moira
Abstract at it's best Rende, very simple but so effective, love the way the rope has been painted.
Regards
Trev.
This is beautiful Rende - love Moira's excellent commentary above.
My grandfather would also have painted the rope - reminds of some of his "work" down by the boathouse when I was young.
I also love that unfurling bit of rope end in this image.

I noticed that, too.
This brilliant picture led me to look at your portfolio. You have some simple yet stunning photos. I really like your use of colour. I clicked quite a few but had to stop myself from clicking any more. I would have been clicking all day. You have a real talent. Wonderful work.
Kevin.
So simple, and so well composed - excellent shot Rende ![]()
