Has lots going for it as a portrait however I think the composition could be tighter for more impact. Good choice of aperture to keep the background soft and well exposed with good highlights and sharpness where it matters in the eyes.
For me just too much empty space around the subject that doesn't add to the environmental positioning of an environmental portrait. Lots of white sky filling the scene that takes the eye.
A little work on the composition would make the difference for me.
