...It was suggested that this might look good in B&W so here it is.
Patterns of time, Dougie.
I love these seemingly random natural shapes. As you may have noticed
Yes it does look good, b&w enhances the barren, desert feel. We were doing this last week at Seahouses, there are aerial landscapes in miniature.
Arizona in Caledonia.
I agree, this B and W version is every bit as pleasing.
There's a cute little lion cub face, right side upper. Eye and all. Nice in mono.
I was amazed at how well this turned ut wit the help of Topaz B&W software.
I had to check back to refresh the memory as to whether or not I had viewed this in colour and think I prefer the former Dougie But good to try new things - you have a great photo but the colour does it for me on this occasion
Nice pattern and worked well in mono.
There is something compelling about seeing fluidity in a material so hard. Mono allows us to concentrate on the shape and patterns. Nicely done Dougie.
Looking good ! gill
I'm undecided. I like the colour version, but the mono helps me to see all sorts of animals and the like within the rock patterns and contours.
Fine shot !!.....lovely detail & textures !!
