Thank you all for your votes and Comments on Race to the Death. Even managed a vote from Pete!
Away from Mull today and back to the Cloisters at Glasgow University. Taken in the early evening on a cold day in May.
Thanks for looking.
Love it .Bet this looks great LARGE!
Beautiful shot and many years since I have been here. Not attending the uni tho, only went with my cousin when he was there. Moira
Composition, tones and detail are all excellent.
This is good. Like it lots.
The extra wide angle has given an interesting interpretation of the vaulting beneath the Bute Hall, Fraser: you have got the symmetry spot on and managed to avoid students et al somehow.......due to long exposure perhaps?
A venue I know well having studied at GU from 1960 to 1967.......seven very busy but fulfilling years.
Brilliant composition Fraser - great symmetry and you've handled the light so well.
Great photo, great light and depth.
It's beautiful composed and exposed, but and it's a big but Fraser the perspective is way out. These round pillars are beautifully slim not shaped like me. I take it you had to do some lens correction here? Sorry if my comment is to the point, not meant to be damning, it still looks good but not accurate.
Lovely light and tones.........Sandy
Like the details and light/tones in this Faser, good one
what a shot .... superb architecture shown off to its best by you
