Thank you for the clicks and comments on Traigh Doire Dubhaig. I wasn't sure it would do well as it's such a "traditional" landscape and I'm pleased it was received well.

This one is the Salen boats (again), casting their shadows thrown by the dawn light. Not HDR, but a blend of two images.

Thanks for looking.

Produced an almost abstract image from this angle Fraser, nicely done, difficult to get the light right from this angle, the blend has worked well.

A striking image with a graphic composition that looks ideal for a mono conversion. My only constructive criticism would be that the patch of flowers and blue rope at the LHS are a bit distracting, this could be eliminated by a mono conversion. Alternatively going wider to include more of the FG elements and the spectacular sky might work. Great work though! Smile

Thanks Al. I take your point about the rope but I wanted to include the flowers as, to me, they are part of the story. Going wide isn't as much of an option as you think unfortunately. There are far more distractions if you go down that route. Besides, I have those photos already - in this case I wanted the boats to dominate the frame.

Interesting to read Al's comment and your reply: can't really add anything other than to say your chosen viewpoint has given a very graphic image of these decaying timbered boats.
Ronnie.
