Another occasional upload from me and another from my recent Help for Heroes Four Peaks Challenge. For those of you that have never climbed Snowdon I would thoroughly recommend it. Although it's probably the most accessible peak in the British Isles and, therefore, a bit of a tourist magnet, in good weather the views and scenery are fantastic. The day we climbed it it was blowing a hooley but the train still allowed those in jeans and canvas shoes to make it to the top. These people couldn't, however, enjoy the walk back down the Miner's Path, which, as you can see, is spectacular and beautiful.

This is a pano of two images taken on my PEN EP-L3, which I'm delighted with. Now, if only I could afford that electronic viewfinder......

Thanks for looking.

I like how you can see the path, or some path, winding off in to the distance as a reminder of how far you've come, or maybe how far you have left to go!? Grin

Good example from the E-PL3 too. Been thinking of getting one of these since the price has dropped so much now the E-PL5 is out.

Does the road wind uphill all the way?
Yes, to the very end.
Will the day's journey take the whole long day?
From morn to night, my friend.

But is there for the night a resting-place?
A roof for when the slow, dark hours begin.
May not the darkness hide it from my face?
You cannot miss that inn.

Shall I meet other wayfarers at night?
Those who have gone before.
Then must I knock, or call when just in sight?
They will not keep you waiting at that door.

Shall I find comfort, travel-sore and weak?
Of labour you shall find the sum.
Will there be beds for me and all who seek?
Yea, beds for all who come.

Looks like a great place. Really envious now. I lived in Wales for years before moving to Scotland and never got around to going up Snowdon. Guess I'll have to fit it in one day when down visiting the family.

Snowdon is one wonderful place Fraser and a great panorama as it deserves. Imagine doing it 6 days a week.
