the still water in the fg pool against the movement in the sea, the light and the composition of this lovely image make it a sure winner

Just an amazing image. I love the contrast between the still water in the foreground and the motion captured in the sea. Colours are incredible.

I had two of your images shortlisted this week (this and Bloody Foreland), along with another couple of superb natural history shots. In the end it came down to this and Bloody Foreland because they're both so wll composed and processed to produce stunning landscapes. This one, in my view, has so much to offer - I could look at it for ages. So, for what it's worth - it's my favourite picture this last week.
