What a beautiful image Malcolm - wonderful tones
Chris
Sometimes I come across a landscape /waterscape image that stops me in my tracks. This is definitely in that category. Were it not for the clearly defined boat, it could be an abstract canvas artwork and therein lies its success imho. It offers both representation and interpretation of the scene. Composition is excellent and the silhouetted figures in the boat are both familiar yet enigmatic. Absolutely superb.

An arresting image, all the more so due to the placement of the boat-- Love the colors!
Pelicans like the costal areas-- My daughter seeks them out--trying to capture them in flight---reasonably successfully-- I choose the less frustrating sitting birds!

Let's hear it for warmer days Malcolm, spectacular use of this effect.

Excellent piece of processing...looks like you had a good image to start but you have truned this into a special image!!
I did so want to vote on this photo as I really do like it but it is the poor photoshop work on the far right in line with the boat that lets it down.
shame.

This is beautiful, so strong in colour but soft in texture, how did you get such smoothness?
Stunning Malcolm, that colour is so good.
