Continuing my theme of out-of-season archive shots this is a pair of mating damselflys photographed in the New Forest a couple of years ago.
The shallow DoF and slight wind movement made it a bit of a sod to capture a completely sharp photograph but this one just about passes muster.

I do like the colours against the out of focus background - and you can see the combined heart-shape of their bodies. Really nice capture.
