This is my cat Sooty. Have had a play - trying to get to know Elements - so have converted to B/W, put a blue 'rinse' on her and selected her eye for original colour. Sorry not all techi jargon - just as i remember doing it!

What a wonderful shot. The highlights really make it (besides the kitty being gorgeous)

Really lovely shot, I love the way the light picks out the fur,
Chris.

You're learning fast by the look of it. Love the tones on this and the border works well too. You have a great model there.

I'd be interested to see this without the fur underneath her nose so that it is just a head shot.

I just couldn't work out what this image was, and suddenly it came to me. I love the angle and the puzzle it created. Nice work.

thanks for the encouraging comments - it was quite fun to play.

Jean - now that is getting too indepth trying to take out all the fur under the nose. LOL!! I agree it would probably enhance this photo - need to learn lots more first! Smile

No, sorry, I think it would be a lot of work to clone out the fur but still keep the whiskers... what I should have said is that this model is definitely worth using again for a similar shot!

I also could not see what this was at first then I suddenly saw her emerge - very spooky ... but like what you have achieved

Great cat shot in limiting the lighting to reveal a beautiful exposure Karen. Nice one.
