Doesn't look like natural light - I can see at least 2 light sources and I only know of one sun in our firmament. There's a shadow behind her hat that's cast by a light source from front left, but the other obvious (main) light source is coming from the opposite side of her face - it's broad lighting. The light is nice and soft, but so is the focusing - the eyes aren't sharp. (Maybe keep the eyes sharp then Gaussian blur the rest?) The background is also rather cluttered. The skin tones are lovely in this light and her eye contact with the camera is captivating.
