this was taken last week from a trip to cardingmill valley, close to church stretton,
was a nice day with some nice clouds, taken in raw with some cs3 tweaks, any comments welcome, G

I think this is a very nicely composed landscape with good lead-in line from the bottom left and with the sunlight catching on the f/g grasses to provide interesting detail there. The only way it could be altered to give slightly greater impact would have been if you had moved a few steps forward you might have captured the background mountain's refection in the water completely. I posted an image two days ago of a Scottish loch and I wished I had done exactly what I have mentioned here - I also cut off part of the reflection and it would have been so easy to have moved forward and capture a stronger image.

many thanks for your comments. i was thinking about moving forward but one of my shoes has a slight hole in so decided to stay dry but next time im there, ill take my wellies, Smile
