I really do like this - the lighting, the high key effect and the crop, which focuses attention very much on the lips and the kiss. The finger between the lips is great, as it adds an element of forbidding, at the same time as being very sensual. The image has a beautiful intimacy that's very appealing. There's only one or two things that, for me, would improve it (and I hope you don't mind me mentioning them).

The finger on the extreme left hand edge looks a little odd being bent down, so it looks like it's cut off at the knuckle - I'd liked to have seen maybe the fingers up straight, and perhaps resting on the man's cheek?

And the other thing is the woman's mouth - the angle that the image is taken from is showing shadows behind the front teeth, and with that last tooth it makes it look like a gap between the teeth. I know this is only an optical illustion, and she doesn't really have a gap, but that's where my eye goes and unfortunately for me it doesn't easily travel past that point and explore the rest of the image.

As I say, I really do like the image as a whole, but those two minor points are, in my mind, things which make the difference between a great image and a stunning image.

Other people may see it differently, and I hope you don't mind me saying? Smile

Tanya

A superb presentation which I like very much, although the few observations I have pretty much mirror TanyaH. Nevertheless and overall, the whole composition is fabulous. Susan
