One of the things I learned about at college was the "Dingle Man". There were several trucks, not nearly as well decorated as this one. They would show up at dusk, offered an equally curious menu--- Lox and bagel among them--Pizza, burgers French Fries, hot dogs, and ice cream--- Never saw the fish and chips option........
If you skipped dinner, or became hungry late in the evening--- you just listened for the bell!-----very handy!

These Portlanders seem pretty keen on their grub, although I'm not sure about some of their choices - don't think that fish and chip ice cream is going to topple good old vanilla (or Cherry Garcia, for that matter ) Nicely observed and well processed and presented, as always, Walter.
