This Mountain Dogwood (Cornus Nuttallii) was shot in Yosemite National Park with my old SONY point-and-shoot back in 2005.
A very beautiful capture Walter, the detail in the centre of the flower is wonderful. Nicely done sir!
Lovely light and detail Walter,nice presentation,well done..Lin
a very interesting texture in these petals, I can even spot some grot in the points!
needles to say - I love the frame!
A good blast from the past here Walter.
And it looks as if it has got a bit grotty with age too !!
Wonderful, Walter! I like dogwood and this one has a great flower. I like the way it fills up the frame.
Very graceful composition-- the petals and leaves sit well within this frame-- a good one!
Great shot, nice work--------Gary(milky)
I like the vintage feel you've achieved with the processing on this one Walter and the close crop really focusses attention on the flower. There's lovely texture in the leaves and by including some of the surrounding foliage we get an idea of the environment this grows in.
Super image Walter, excellent detail and I do like the vintage look.
We had wonderful dogwoods like this in Canada. Beautiful.
Good details and textures in this fine study Walter
Great close up, Walter.
