Another star fish that was exposed when the tide went out. (Sorry about the syntax, Brits.)
This was at the tidal pool areas at Yachats, Oregon along the North Pacific Coast of the US (44.3107, -124.1082).

As is probably evident from the image, it was a very overcast day. I considered brightening this up in PS but decided to leave it like this. I rather like these dense tonalities for this shot.

PS Sorry, Brits. I was really confused and now I realize that I can end a sentence with "out." Thanks to Anna_W and to my favorite source for all things grammar, "Grammar Girl."

The colour and the composition are spot on, Walter. And a certain amount of humour with the 'running figure' shape of the starfish.

Lovely detail and texture in this one Walter - the soft, even lighting suits it perfectly and I like the rather decadent posture the starfish has adopted (looks as though it may be propping itself up a bit after one or two drinks Smile). I've re-read your first sentence a few times but can't see anything wrong with the syntax, despite being a Brit!

Anna
