We got on a boat we thought was going to make the short trip to the Island of Murano, Italy where we would buy some of their famous glass. I went into a panic when the boat was plowing full spead into open water. The English speaking passengers informed us we were on our way to Burano. We got off at the first possible stop to catch a boat back. This was shot when we were headed back and my panic had subsided. -=Walter

Doug and I spent quite a lot of time here a couple of years ago, the colourful houses of Burano make superb compositions. You have captured the vivid colour well in this shot with the hint of reflections on the canal.

Just a reply to my shot Carnasserie Castle.
The shot was on B&W film. The rest was in Photoshop with gradation fill with another tool that is now forgotten. It has been stated as overdone whatever that means!
Just experimenting without which we would all stand still.
Back to this shot where I have read and discussed with others that high saturated colours easily obtained with digital often offends with shots that do not merit it. This of course does and shouts it with no pretence.

This is a wonderfully vibrant image Walter, reminds me of an artisna sector in Buenos Aires, a spectacular sight.
I Love the uniformity also of this image, well done
