Last light on smoke stack across the lake from Stansbury Island. Still trying to figure out light, what to do, how best to capture the mood. Still not even close to being there so comments and suggestions for improvement greatly appreciated.

Beautiful composition. The mood you have captured is great and the stack in the distance gives a sense of perspective.
Well done.

Nothing wrong with this one. I like the overall mood with the whisp of smoke in the distance.

Looks good, wish I could help on pointers for capturing light but just starting into that endeavor myself. Getting up at 4:30 AM to try some shots as the sun rises and cast that morning glow over the woods. Spot on! Click!!!

Hello Jan.
Light is good , But think the stack should be on the left hand side.

Wonderful how you have captured the smoke coming out of that chimney and the reflection of it in the reflection of the reflection of the hills behind it.Perfect golden hues, detail, textures, lighting and exposure.Magnificent composition.Take care.AnnSmile
