This season Utah is experiencing record heat and record low humidity, not the best for photography! In the desert, its even more evident as even scrub plants struggle to survive. The air is thin and often glaring white - but still to me the desert has a breath-taking beauty. This is another image of the hardpan in the central west region of the state for my desert series.
