Re-work of a similar image posted before of a Wasp. I've learned a bit more about the software for the stacking of images since the original, so thought I'd trawl back through the archives I have and have a re-work of a few images.
Feeling a little tired this morning as I watched the Olympic opening (what a spectacle) and had the moth traps out last night. Caught one or five nice and rare specimens, so now I've got to go out and get them in the camera. By the time I've done that, I've no doubt it won't be long before I'm fast asleep in front the swimming
So I don't think I'll be doing much commenting until later, but as always I've no doubt I catch up with everyone. Beside's you should all be out in this glorious weather trying to capture EC winning shots anyway ![]()
Have a great weekend folks.......Ade

excellent shot...
now how do you convince them to pose for you ![]()
You are almost making me like wasps with this. Wow.
Awesome detail and clarity in this incredible close up, as a Gloucester rugby fan I'm rather reluctantly voting for this wasp!
This extreme close up will scare the living daylights out of that big wuss the Tomcat, he's absolutely petrified of wasps and will run away screaming if he views large!!!![]()

Quote: But don't you feel a bit silly when you take him out for a walk !!
Everyone thinks this is a macro Mike, but what no one knows is which species he is.......He's actually 6ft long! I don't feel silly at all!!! ![]()
But I do winder why folks cross over to the other side of the street, Jaspers a pussycat really, all he asks for is the odd jar of jam or marmalade. You wouldn't want to make him angry though ![]()
Ade
Eye thought this was one of yours Ade, spectacular photography again.

Trev.
My hubs took me across a narrow path to a field growing Broad Beans and there in the field was Ragwort I found the caterpillar he tried taking a picture of the other day but it nearly finished me off I dont walk well and with a stick, was frightened of falling in the ditch - I am full of admiration for your patience and stamina knowing what you go through and the suffering encountered sometimes, well done this is a great shot Ade
This is fantastic Ade, it would certainly get my current UA if we were allowed to do it.
