....that is I'm completely out of my comfort zone here. this is an image of my good friend and Neighbour who was willing to let me take his photograph, which is a huge thing for him to do, so i could test out my new 50mm 1.8 lens.
I don't do portraits so this will probably bomb....any advice is more than welcome

Yea Jeff it was a breezy day ...but not as breezy as last night...wow the wind was strong
very good portraiture. the very narrow dof combined with that windy feeling give this a lot of mood. him smiling works very well in this portrait. nice post processing, although it did leave some traces in the area along the horizon

Kopi . the traces in the BG are just what is thrown up by the small aperture and resizing.
