Taken on the weekend whilst waiting for Goldfinches.
As usual what I was after didn't turn up and nothing would sit on the top of my perch.

Shaver: Find it ok but then I'm no pro! I just looked at some of your pics with the 50 - 500 but you have no details. if you add details of camera settings might be able to give some suggestions.
I see a lot of people on here with the 50 - 500 with great results though!

Some nice detail & colour,good dof.
Looks just a wee bit cramped in the frame,a little more space generally would have improved this image no end for me & I would have had a go at removing the twig at bottom left of the frame as it serves no purpose.
A nice catchlight,well exposed.
