this from the same series as previous 2 posts. there was a violent riot in the shanty over the weekend, after 2 boys were gunned down by a drunken policeman so the atmosphere is uneasy.
this is david. found him sitting under a bush on the side of the road, where he now spends his days. his wife passed away since my last visit and he seems lost without her. his grief is evident in his face as he talks about her. he has a single surviving daughter whom he now lives with. she doesnt treat him well. rather than face her, he sits quietly under this bush and smokes.

Wow, realy great emotive shot. You can almost feel the waves of emotion he's keeping back. Beautiful moment...
the grieve stricken face very much contradicts with the very colorfull photo. Very strong photo. perhaps an (too) obvious question... how about b&w ?
