Good things come out of bad, the cab broke down on Monday yet again! so it was off with my mate Bazmo and we decided to retrace my steps from 20 yrs ago on the coast to coast walk. I remember this little gem well but I never managed to get back until now. I used detail extractor (P/S added filter) to bring out detail in the rocks, and a slow shutter speed with my light fader on the lens for the usual milky effect to the water. Once again many thanks for your kind comments and votes, I very much appreciate them all.

Trev.
Can't choose between them either, both very good. Lovely water movement and detail in the rocks.
Dave
Well I can choose between them. The glass green in V2 is [as Barbara says above], Magical! I think because it renders a pure arctic quality. TG
I prefer the colour of the water in V2, excellent image.
Congratulations Bob, breaking the 50s barrier and also on the 138 clicks for Robin Hood Bay. You deserve it. Careful work is rewarding. TG
Both very good, like the movement good lighting.......good work.
John

V1 is my preference, you've composed and exposed this shot so superbly
Your photography is wonderful and I can see why you have many votes. I very much like your versions of this image - each has a different feel to them which makes it difficult to choose ![]()
