My first outing with my new lens, taken at Midland Game Fair last month. Hand held due to lack of space! I must admit to being pleased with the results. Thanks for all C/C on my last uploads, hope you enjoy this one.

I like this a lot: definately caught the nature of the eagle. Maybe it could be a little brighter, but it's a very good take.

Like the contrast of the dark and the light gives the bird a personality and an attitude! Nicely taken and well composed.
Hand held photography is difficult but I have achieved some nice results without a tripod. Take a look at some of my shots, the vulture, falcon and barn owl were all hand held.
