At last I managed to get to a hide to try to take small bird images. This is one of the few decent images I managed to get so as with all things "I must try harder" but practice will help I am sure.

Thanks for looking and any advice greatfully accepted.

Thanks so much for your comments, it really is my first try at small birds,I will be asking for i.d's next as I have to learn that as well!

I think it's great! I guess the only thing that distracts is that part of the branch that sticks up to the right, but hey, you can't control where they land!

Great first attempt although it looks a bit over exposed especially around the head? Nice clean shot though.
