Ok, it's not a vase, it's actually a toothbrush holder 
I see it with big fluffy Paeonies in it but as there aren't any around at the moment and I simply had to see how it came out I made do with some overblown Tulips instead.
I think it has potential.....
And no, I didn't bother ironing my faux suede background - at first it looked messy but I quite like it being somewhat uneven.

Evening all - I've decided it's time to stop cleaning skirting boards ready for painting and pay a bit more attention to EPZ!
And what a nice surprise to come back to - thank you everyone and thank you Pete for the HC - this is turning into a pretty good evening!
Who knows, by the end of the weekend I may have cleared my studio out and actually have some decent room to work in again - yippee

Seriously, I am pleased you approve though - not bad considering I was kneeling on the floor with my backside squished up against three computers (two dead, one backup), and several boxes of who knows what

Hello everyone and apologies for my late return to say thank you again
The light evenings are great but it does mean I don't stop with my decorating endeavours until almost 8pm - as long as there is light I'm painting, or filling or staining or cleaning!
Oh that toothbrush holder is a bit too posh for my tatty old bathroom Hilary (not for too much longer though). I make do with a plastic beaker too This one is strictly for flowers!
