Taken last Saturday from the hide out in my back yard.
I sat there for ages with my camera set in portrait position just waiting for a bird to land on this part of the perch, I'd set the focus point to be about where I thought the bird's head would be because I knew that when they landed I'd only have a split second to get the shot before they flew off again.
There was still a lot of snow on the mountain in the background on Saturday but by Sunday it had melted.

Thanks Adrian, yeah, that kept happening to me too, one day we'll have "Retina controlled Focussing" or whatever they decide to call it, that would be great.

Trev, I'd love to go there, went there once and it was great, BUT do you realise what Saturday is?, it's the start of the 6 Nations Rugby and Rugby beats photography every time lol, I'd love to go another time though.
