Another one from Skomer Island last year taken in portrait format.

It's not always easy to isolate a single puffin against a nice background and get it to stay still and pose for the camera but this one was very obliging Smile

Superb portrait Geoffrey. It also shows clearly the special hinge on a puffins jaw which allows them to keep both beak parts parallel so they can keep plenty of sand eels in it without them falling out when the put a new one in
