Hints of stories, past lives and adventures. One of my favourite subject. I like the way you have gone in close and used portrait for those sturdy handles.
The warm, mellow, golden tones are attractive - contrasty b&w could be interesting too, and possibly a cold sepia...

Luggage made to last, Albert, not like the rubbish they produce these days. Carol

I can feel the texture of the cases. I like the selection of the labels and handles.

I'll give you a click even though you're showing my age!

The B and W version works well but loses some of the warmth and charm, I feel, of the original which is captured in fine detail, tones, and textures.
Memories of travel times long gone.

A well detailed image full of nostalgia, Albert!
Was it taken at the NRM in York?

This has to be in color to show that wonderful golden leather tone. Wonderfully nostalgic.

Wonderful abstract where V1 stands out better in my opinion, as it reveals more details and all the textures!

Two gooduns Albert and of the two I prefer The black and white but perhaps with just a wee bit more contrast, However I must say Albert i Do think it's time you bought yourself some new lightweight luggage.....you know it makes sense.

A subject which asks to be in mono, and indeed your mono version is good, I just think the colour has more going for it, even nostalgia isn't always black and white Smile
