Another set from Holy Austin Rock Houses, a National Trust Property, just 3 miles from where I live, at Kinver in South Staffordshire.
It is amazing that some of these houses were occupied until the late 50s/early 60s.
V1 shows a level 2 Rock House; the open door is where you ‘pay to go in’.
V2 is the path up to the entrance; the brown door and window to the right of the well are what is on the outside of V3.
V3 shows the daytime living area with the range, dolly tub, table and other artefacts.
V4 shows two views of the bedroom with all of the modcons of the day!
Thanks for all interest, votes and comments on my ‘Holy Austin Rock Houses 1’ upload.
My last upload for a week or so as we’ll be away in Devon.
Have a lovely weekend,
