Bellardia trixago is a species of flowering plant belonging in the broomrape family known as Mediterranean linseed. This beautiful plant is native to whole the Mediterranean basin. This is an erect plant often reaching over 0.50m in height and its foliage is rich green and dotted with glands and hairs. Its blossom is yellow or white.

Three beautiful images George - I like the purple grass inv1 and v2 which off sets the vivid yellow of the flowers. Superb as always.
