Buttercups belong to a plant family named Ranunculaceae. Ranunculaceae is based on the Latin word rānunculus, which means "little frog". Buttercups include a wide variety, grouped by a plant naming system in the genus Ranunculus.It has yellow, shiny, petals, and grows wild in lots of different places.

A beautiful sunny image, It reminds me of my Nan she used to pick these from her garden & then hold a flower under our chin, if there was a yellow reflection she said that it showed that we liked butter, the things we remember from our childhood, of course as I got older I realised that it would always show this.
