This is an image of grape in early growth as it is, during this time of season. It is a blessed plant together with Olive tree among all other plants of Greece and it is absolutely connected with Greek customs, Orthodox religion and generally with Greek civilization as it could be seen in many representations in ancient ceramics or it is reported in ancient Greek epic poems like "Iliad" of Homer. From this plant we produce wine, ouzo, retsina and it also gives us grapes which can be eaten raw as a summer fruit.
