Wild garlic is a bulbous, perennial plant which grows wild in damp woodlands, and often found in fenlands or near water drainage ditches. Wild garlic can be found throughout Europe.

Wild garlic can be found from late January to late Spring. All parts of the plant (bulb, leaves and flowers) are edible, and, as the name implies, has a distinctive flavor of garlic though not as heavy or pungent.

Yours is white and ours is pink, George Smile. Still waiting for ours to flower, they are showing buds at present. Three wonderful captures of this beautiful wild garlic. Carol

Three lovely variations, George. White on green is such a good combination.
