A Tiny Landscape
A reflection seen in a puddle, inverted, cropped
A HUGE THANK YOU to Potra for her User Award for "Christmas in the Air 3" and for all who locked in and commented.
Snap! Took similar images today. AND still taking shots of my Christmas cactus. Great mind think alike.
Beautifully observed and captured Jenn. And love the image inverted.
This is a great micro landscape. You have a way of finding images no one else sees, Jennifer. And, we both know how seductive reflections can be. Those trees look like they are growing out of the puddle. I love this photo.
I couldn't get my head around this until I copied it and inverted it. A visually challenging and interesting shot.
I really like this. You have composed it perfectly, it almost looks 3D, great stuff.
This is awesome. Like the compo .
Very effective image.
A stunning image. Beautiful composition, gradients of light perfectly captured.
Magically beautiful. I started off looking for a tighter crop, but this needs those swirling outline curves, they give the effect of something fleeting, ephemeral.
You certainly know how to create an image Jenn. As Moira says this is "magically beautiful."
I echi Joan's comment, Jenn.
This is a superb creation, Jenn!
I love this sort of reflection - excellent work.
Wonderful piece of work, the trees do look like they are sprouting through the water.
This is wonderful Jenn, so creative, myself I would clone out the grass bottom left, but only my opinion.
Great immaginative photography Jenn. Superb. Peter.
Simply delightful!!!!!!! A magical scene for sure.
Oh I love the reflection
Jennn, so well captured
Very clever to invert the reflection - making us visualise!
A great lesson on how to hit the nail on the head!!! Superb image.
Yes,a clever shot here Jenn.
This is so good...... so much to look at, has anyone noticed the profile of the face on the right?
Very beautiful work, Jennn! I see the winter does not pamper you with fluffy snow ...
Observational and photographic excellence…

Wonderfully well observed and recorded for posterity Jenn, this is something that most of us would have passed by without giving it a second glance
