I'm trying to figure out why this has had such little attention. I think it's excellent but there are three possible reasons I can think of. The shadow on her right side is maybe a little too deep, particularly since it bisects her eye, making it a little unsettling. The second thing is her look is a little cold. Thirdly, the highlight on her left shoulder is a bit bright. Otherwise great processing and pose with an very attractive model.

I was trying to achieve a feeling of depth in the image rather than just flat lighting.

And the crimson red backdrop was to give the image warmth. lol

I like the shot, however, a few observations that may help.

The warming, - if it has been applied, has affected the whites of her eyes, which appear quite yellow; there are no really visoble catchlights in her eyes, - reflections are dulled possible by warming; the shot is underexposed, which has affected the skin tone, it is overly yellow (but might be deliberate warming). Ive downloaded the shot and modified according to the suggestions and I believe it looks a lot better. The eyes either have it or dont.

Happy to send you the mod if you like.

regards

Willie
