I shot this in mid September in the Lake District. The scene was shot close to the wast water pumping station that supplies water to the selafield nuclear power station a few miles away. I had trekked around Wast Water the day before and had spotted the scenes potential for the morning. An early morning rise and a half hour walk to this location from the car as the sun was beginning to rise presented this scene. The tranquillity of the water and its reflections was broken with the odd shower but I sat it out and waited for the sun to get a little higher to get some light into the valley while the reflections were still good. The colours were a little subdued so I decided to work in more moody B&W with sepia toning to maximise the scenes potential. All processing was done in Lightroom 3.2
