Another Californian image, I was amazed at the cottontails, jackrabbits and roadrunners that were in abundance here ... great for pointing the camera at!

Converted this to mono as I wanted to emphasise the textures in the fur.

The mono tones do show up the texture of the fur very nicely. A very good image.

A beauty Gill, the only Jackrabbit, Cottontails and Roadrunners we saw were going the other way !!!! A superb mono and so detailed.

Lovely detail Gill...I would have liked to have seen it in colour though...sorry to be different.
Nicely isolated from the bg,a good angle to get close in to.
Nice catchlight in his eye & I do like the square crop.

Great clarity and the use of monotone. I would have never have thought to use it for animals.
