Another Californian image, I was amazed at the cottontails, jackrabbits and roadrunners that were in abundance here ... great for pointing the camera at!
Converted this to mono as I wanted to emphasise the textures in the fur.

Great clarity and the use of monotone. I would have never have thought to use it for animals.
